GIMP Plugin Registry

I joined this forum ... no problem. Logged in, read things, even asked a question in the forum to which I received an answer. But ever since that question received an answer, I can no longer respond to that or any other post. I also tried creating a similar thread to this one on the help topic, but it never showed there. I receive error messages at the top of the forum screen, telling me that my response triggered the spam filter. This has happened three times today. What the heck is going on ... ???  read more »

Hello complete newbie here but keen to learn . I was wondering if anyone might know of a link to actually download a copy of the online help manual ? I still like hard copies and would like to have the ability to turn pages while I work out Gimp

Post what you think are the TOP 25 GIMP SCRIPT-FU and PLUGIN's available here! Will compile an averaged list of the top 25 as suggested by users in the forums! Good Postings and Happy New Year (Early!)!

An Easy way to do this is to Write down the TOP Scripts/Plugins/ETC. that you use in almost every image you mix/create/edit/etc.
Write is down as a list
1. NAME - (link if possible)
2. ETC.

Hello all GIMP users :)

I've just signed up to the forums, and first, I want to thank the producers of GIMP, it's an amazing programme, and does most of the things the expensive programmes do. *cough*photoshop CS5*cough*.

And now I want to ask a question, When you use a pattern (e.g over a text) Is there a way that you can have it at a certain angle? If not, does anyone know where I can download new patterns from please? :)

I created a WebP plugin for the Gimp and listed it here (http://registry.gimp.org/node/25366). This plugin received a considerable amount of feedback and was used by quite a few people.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use GIMP scripts in Sony Vegas Pro 11? It would be great to be able to use these when editing Video projects.

Perhaps someone out there has the skills to make this happen. I sure don't.

Yesterday night I wrote a reply on a thread (http://registry.gimp.org/node/25595). I was told after submission that it needed to be approved by actual humans. It's now 12+ hours later and I wonder whether my reply made it through the HSF. There seems to be no indication of me ever having replied at all - there is no info in my user pages (nothing under Track for instance), no email in my inbox; so I'm beginning to fear that if my reply didn't make it through the HSF, I wouldn't receive any notice of it - it would just vanish into /dev/null.  read more »
