Iwarp - Come On Guys!

I've been using Gimp for ages and love it to death! The lack of proper preview zoom on the Iwarp plugin is pretty ridiculous! Further, all the suggested work arounds are convoluted and really not touching on the core issue here.

This is probably the one Plugin that absolutely needs a zoom function. Is it that hard to develop it with that?

I'm looking for a solution that I can administer now instead of waiting for the Gimp Dev Team to address it.

gimp-file-save problem

I'm trying to write to script to automate setting up my library of background images for my new dual-monitor setup.
I've got it mostly done, but I can't seem to get gimp-file-save & gimp-image-flatten to play.  read more »

Repeat Hue/Saturation on multiple layers

I have an animated GIF with over 100 frames. I need to run the same hue/saturation effect on all the frames to change the color of the whole animation. Is there any good way to do this? It sounds very simple, could anybody be generous enough to write up a quick script?

Thanks.

One colorpicture to three bitmaps- one for each color channel, wanted

I need to analyse some pictures taken with light from three diodes-one blue, one red and one green. Now I look at each channel using the channel mixer, killing two channels at the time and then saving the result as a grey scale bitmap, which is further analysed in a labview program.
It would be nice if there were a script which I just could apply on a RGB picture and it would produce three grey scale bitmap pictures, representing each color channel. Does this exist?  read more »

GAP on GIMP 2.6.7

Hi,
A newbie here, a very beginner with GIMP (but patience and long time is better than force and rage, as we say in my mother tongue ;-)).

I'd like to create an animated GIF, so I found the animated package.
The only *slight* problem is that I don't have the palest idea (from an Italian expression which means that I don't have any idea) on where can I download it, and where and how to install it.
Tried with the search motor with "GAP", but I found nothing for GIMP 2.6.7

=> Any idea on how to help me ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Syntax help

Going to create a batch file to do some image conversion using GIMP. I do need some help with the GIMP side of things.

For example, in trying to pass a .bmp file and create a .tif file:

...gimp-2.6.exe -i -b file-tiff-save2 -image "..." -filename "..." -compression 1

'image','filename', and 'compression' are available parameters of 'file-tiff-save2'

How would I properly lay out the above code? Perhaps I'm way off here.

Thanks

how do i go about installing separate+ in linux

hi,

i'm an ignoramus on the ITC-side of graphics, but i've been looking for a way to get the separate+ plugin into gimp, so i can convert images in RGB to CMYK.
Don't get me wrong, i've been looking around and reading, and i did download the latest version form:

http://cue.yellowmagic.info/softwares/separate.html

but it just doesn't seem to work. Where exactly do i copy it to for it to show in the image menu of gimp?

reason being i'm getting different colours when i export my files in scribus to PDF and get them printed digitally.  read more »
