Flag waving

This little plugin makes an animation that looks like a flag fluttering
in the wind from any given (single layer) image. This one requires gimp with perl-support.

http://www.69b.org/cms/software/gimp#flag-waving

Example:

(like (100ms) or (replace)) in the layer attributes.

anitools

this script adds an "anitools" submenu to the "script-fu" menu with entries useful for creating (optimized) animated GIFs:
create scanlines: paint every other horizontal line in each layer with the current foreground layer. this can decrease the size of the resulting GIF and some people like the look :-)
set image framerate: set the frame rate for all layers in the current image.
set layer framerate: set the frame rate for just the current layer.
make GIF animation: rough and unfinished attempt to improve on the "optimize for GIF" plugin.

After that using image menu Python-Fu->Sprites->Sprite tape launch the my script and input how many sprites will be placed in horisontal and vertical positions.
Flames

This is a script that is based on the fire tutorial (http://gug.sunsite.dk/tutorials/tomcat13/). It was built and tested on GIMP 2.4 (so, using the new scheme engine).
It comes with two versions; one that creates an image of flames and another that creates an animation (using layers as frames).
