Easily map colours from a source colour to a target colour. Very effective for matching skin tones across images or between people.
Relatively quick (but not earth shattering). It doesn't work with grayscale or indexed images. Has preview, works with selections and layers, etc. Very, easy to use, and quite useful for portraits or recolouring graphics.

A demonstration: Lenna's face is mapped to the colour of the feather on her hat. This was done by selecting a colour from her face, then selecting a colour from the feather. read more »

Provides a kind of poor-man's HDR (high dynamic range). It doesn't actually increase the dynamic range; in fact, it decreases it, overall, but in a way that maintains local contrast. But this gives you some headroom to increase the contrast of the image overall, thus enhancing the local contrast.
Creates a white (or black) border around an image that merges in with the image so that on a larger white (or black) background, the image appears to have a ragged border. This is similar to the Gimp's Fuzzy Border, but it adapts its jaggedness to the image. read more »

This script brings 2 pictures to an exact overlap.
The pictures must be in 2 different layers of the same image.
Get the layer 2 with 50% transparency. This makes both pictures visible in one projection.
You have to tell the script, which 2 points have to overlap. Therefore you stroke a path with a path tool in the image including 4 points. Point 1 will be aligned with point 3 and point 2 will be aligned with point 4.
The points build one path. So you can just click the 4 points consecutively.
More description is in the file.

Creates a vignette around a selection.
- Vignette based on selection and active layer.
- Softness, opacity, and colour of the vignette can be changed in the dialog box.
- Checking "Keep Layers" allows adjustment of vignette opacity after the fact.
- Also check "Keep Layers" if you have other layers visible otherwise they will be merged down.

This script helps fix overblown areas of an image. It's not as good as some other methods that must be done manually, but it's not bad. It will NOT fix clipped colors (maximum overblown areas); it only helps increase the contrast in bright highlights.
The script is located in "<Image> / Script-Fu / Enhance / Fix Overblown"
