GIMP Plugin Registry

This plug-in is designed for batch watermarking and resizing of image files. It lets you choose the directory which contains the images, the file extension, the font, the copyright text and the options associated with the processing. Useful for photographers who upload a lot of photos on the web and don't want to watermark every single file individually. The resulting images contain three or four instances of the copyright text (depending on the orientation of the image).

This script will create psychedelic 1960's text. I created this script from my tutorial of the same name. I didn't merge the layers in the script, as I did in the tutorial, because you can change the blend modes of the different layers for different appearance.

Rev. 2.0 - added compatability for Gimp 2.4.x

Python-Fu script to create subtitle images for DVDs from "SubRip" files (*.srt).

Can be used in batch mode; just adapt the files 'gimprc' and the Linux shell script 'run_parse_subtitles'. Extension to support other filetypes should be easy.

Find and Replace Text on all text layers.

Find: text to search for
Replace: text to replace with
Replace All: replace every match [YES/no]
Case Sensitive: match case [YES/no]

The plug-in is found at Edit->Find & ReplaceText...

Tested on Ubuntu 8.10, GIMP 2.7 (SVN).

Could use some further testing, esp. on other platforms.
Matching is done using Python's re.sub function - so special character should work (\n, *, +, etc.).

A Python plugin that start the Lorem Ipsum Generator for creating dummy text for your design drafts. The plugin requires the Lorem Ipsum Generator and is available at the moment for Linux only (post a comment if you like it to get for Windows too)
