GIMP Plugin Registry

Hi, I want to write a plug in that will allow me to use many plug ins to see how the picture will come out, instead of clicking on the plug ins individually. I have no experience writing plug ins, this will be my first. If anyone can help by giving me links it would be greatly appreciated.
