Clone Tool is not available for me to use, how or what can I do to install this aspect. There are other tools I have noticed also that are not useable. Please Help
In general to solve this problems you may hover the mouse on the problematic tool or filter or whatever and SHIFT+F1
That magically open the help to the right page
BUT in this case i spare you the effort
To start with the clone CTRL+click on the source you want to clone.
same for the healing tool
About the other not working tools usually they do not work if there is not a imagine opened
I am a newbie, as u will tell. I downloaded 2.6 this week to Vista Home Prem. Under 'SELECT', the tools 'feather' to just above 'distort' are grayed out. Why???? What do I need to plugin just to get started doing a better job than the 'MySpace' picture editor. It's just for fun now, but who knows where it may lead.
When I try the F1 I go online to HELP. and I am working on a laptop mouse pad not with a regular mouse. Any difference? Any tips u could share with a newbie would be appreciated. I've tried the YOUTUBE tuts, but they move so darn fast. I need the step by step of what plugins I'll need to download to the basic 2.6 download. I'm assuming I did it correctly, as a few things i tried did work with layers. I'm just playing around trying things out 1st, but am getting a bit frustrated. Thanks!
